LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
The Edge Lawn and Garden Edging:
Limited Residential Warranty:
AEL International Ltd. warrants to the
original residential purchaser that under normal residential use and
service conditions, the Edge™ lawn and garden edging shall be free of
defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the lawn or garden
that it is originally installed in. If a defect occurs during this time
period, the Purchaser shall notify AEL Int’l Ltd. in writing describing
the defect. Upon confirmation by an authorized AEL representative of the
defect, AEL International’s sole responsibility shall be, at its option,
to either replace the defective materials or refund the portion the
original purchaser price paid by the residential purchaser. (For the
purpose of this warranty, “Residential Purchaser” refers to the
individual residential homeowner who originally purchased the product).
This warranty shall not cover, and AEL
shall not be responsible for the costs and expenses incurred with
respect to the removal of defective AEL products or the installation of
replacement materials, including but not limited to labor and freight.
AEL does not warrant against and is not
responsible for, and no implied warranty shall be deemed to cover, any
condition attributable to: (1) Improper installation of AEL products,
and/or failure to abide by AEL’s installation guidelines, included but
not limited to proper and adequate watering of the grass after the
installation. (2) Use of AEL product beyond normal residential use, or
in an application not recommended by AEL’s guidelines. (3) Movement,
distortion, collapse or setting of the ground on which the product was
installed. (4) Any act of nature, such as flooding, hurricane,
earthquake, etc. (5) Staining from foreign substances (such as dirt,
grease, oil, etc) or normal weathering (defined as exposure to sunlight,
weather and atmosphere which may cause any colored surface to gradually
fade, chalk, or accumulate stains. (6) Variations or changes in color of
AEL product from batch to batch. (7) Damage caused by improper use of
mowing or trimming devices. (8) Improper handling, storage, abuse or
neglect of AEL products by Purchaser. (9) Ordinary wear and tear.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL AEL
INTERNATIONAL LTD. BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES AND AEL’S LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS SHALL IN
NO EVENT EXCEED THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH PRODUCTS OR THE REFUND OF THE
PURCHASE PRICE, AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
This warranty shall only be applicable
and enforceable in the United States and Canada.
To make a claim under this limited
warranty Purchaser shall send to AEL a description of the claimed
defect, along with proof of purchase, to the following address:
